Playing House

"After hearing the same question over and over from friends and family - “Why aren’t you married yet?” - art director Suzanne Heintz got herself a little family…of mannequins. Over the course of 14 years and 10,000 miles of travel, she took her mannequins everywhere and posed them for annual family Christmas cards"

Halftone

"The duo combine stencil art and poster work to create their enormous murals. Using a halftone style like that of black and white newsprint photographs they apply huge poster murals to a structure. Then the team cuts away long strips to reveal a portrait. Sten & Lex’s murals are then allowed to slowly disintegrate creating an ever changing work of art. The strips slowly peel off the wall waving in the wind like party streamers."
