I think it's a slightly fleeting interest... but I think its interesting how an image can become degraded to a severe degree and yet still be recognizable.
In this case I get a kick out how FF put graffiti through a digital filter but kept it in the same context/environment.
I think it really worked in this case because it was just the edges of the original graf. If it had been just a big block of colors I wouldn't have enjoyed the piece as much.

I agree. It can't totally replace the orignial graffiti.
